We're breaking down all of the Festivals on our list this summer, and what to pack along for an epic time! Our first edition is all about Coachella!
Coachella (April 14-16th | April 21-23rd)
Back in 1999, Coachella burst onto the concert scene as a "high-comfort festival experience," and over the years as become one of the most profitable music festival in the U.S. Falling onto two weekends in April, it's the official kick off to the season! Now with the boring stuff out of the way, lets get to goods: the food, the etherial garb, the art, where to stay, the headliners, and that FERRIS WHEEL!
EATS
With over 100 vendors, Coachella ranks high as the top Festival for Foodies. Scroll through the #Coachella hashtag on Instagram, and take note of the epic eats like these:
FASHION
The CLOTHES. The most epic part of Coachella is the fashion; equal parts boho, and hippie-chic, dressing to impress is the way to roll. On #BLISSBANDITS, we're fond of a few looks in particular- (Tap the Pic's to Shop the Looks-)
ART
The art at Coachella is otherworldly. Four headline artists are featured this year (among countless others artists' large scale installations on the grounds-) while we can't wait to see what they bring to the festival this year, we're always a fan of the art mainstays like the balloon chain, and the bear that is terrifying for not-because-it's-a-bear reasons.
SLEEP
Where should you stay during the festival? The coolest part about Coachella are the endless accommodation options. Coachella has partnered with Curadora to offer affordable rates for those who'd like to stay indoors for the festival. Looking to Glamp? They've got that option too! Looking to save? The Camping Companion pass has got to be the most affordable of all festival camping! All camps have free showers included, water stations, and ice for sale. (Added bonus for campers? There's a free supermarket shuttle...UGH IT LITERALLY DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER.)
With Beyonce out as the main headliner due to her currently carrying the next two saviors of the world, Lady Gaga valiantly took her place. Other big names to look forward to? Kendrick Lamar, Lorde, Future, Bon Iver, and so many more!
